Casa Rural Las Infantas

We planned to stay for a week but left after two nights because of several problems. The listing said the downstairs bedrooms had air conditioning and private bathrooms, but neither was true. The downstairs bathroom was damaged, with water coming through the wall. Antonio suggested bringing someone in to fix it, which would have meant breaking open the wall during our holiday. We were also told on arrival that the tap water wasn’t safe to drink. That should have been in the listing, because we wouldn’t have booked if we’d known. He left a few jugs of water, but we were advised to avoid using the tap water to wash dishes or brush our teeth. The dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. The cutlery, plates, glasses, kettle, and coffee machine were covered in limescale, and the plates were sticky. The place wasn’t clean enough, especially the kitchen, where everything felt sticky and unready to use. Antonio also claimed in the Airbnb review that we had damaged things, but our deposit was refunded in full. I’ve attached photos. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

We had a wonderful week here with the family. It’s a lovely villa in a beautiful setting, clean and stocked with what you need. A great spot for a quiet, relaxing break away from stress and noise.

The house has lots of rooms and is well equipped, and the pool is fantastic. It’s also well connected to the main towns nearby, including Cabra and Lucena. A really good experience.

We’ve stayed here with friends in both summer and winter, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time each visit. The house is beautiful and spacious inside and out, and the location is magnificent. The owner was pleasant and attentive throughout. I’ll definitely be back.
