Hotel Málaga Vibes

After a long overnight flight, we spent a couple of days here before setting off by car. The hotel is modern, very clean and handy for the airport, with transit into downtown just minutes away. Staff were exceptionally helpful and happily took care of our special requests. We ate at the bar, where the menu is limited but good, and really enjoyed the fabulous breakfast. I'd recommend it and stay again. I'd give the location four stars only because it's outside downtown near the sights, though transit gets you into town quickly.

We found Hotel Málaga Vibes comfortable and pleasant. Reception staff were polite, informative, helpful and always smiling, and there's a taxi service too. The neighbourhood is quiet and near the airport, with metro and bus stops close by, as well as Aldi, Carrefour and a few restaurants. Rooms are a normal size and come with shower gel, shampoo, a toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle and tea bags. On my second stay there was also a water bottle, though there wasn't one on the first, plus a sweet welcome note. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and there was a mini fridge, though I didn't use anything in it. Breakfast was plentiful, with a big selection of hot and cold food, coffee, juice, different cereals and milk, and different breads. Service was quick even when it was busy, and the spacious breakfast area also had outdoor seating, which we didn't use. It was nice to see that pets were allowed, with several dogs around. Thanks for the great service. I'd definitely come back.

We booked at the last minute for a single night between Christmas and New Year, when things were fairly quiet. There was lots of street parking outside, and the hotel also has private parking if needed. We didn't try breakfast, the restaurant or the bar, so this is just about the room, location and stay. The new-build hotel felt modern, with everything working properly, and it was easy to find. Being on the outskirts next to the ring road made for a quick drive out of Málaga without traffic. Though it's outside the centre, an underground station is a six or seven minute walk away for easy trips into town. The staff were very friendly. The room was nice, but like some modern hotels, it didn't have a separate bathroom. The shower and toilet were in frosted glass cubicles in the bedroom. The shower setup was fine, but I'd personally prefer more privacy for the toilet. Overall, very good, and it'll be near the top of our list next time we visit Málaga.

The room was clean, well cared for, and everything worked. The bed was very comfortable. Staff were polite, friendly and always ready to help. Thanks again for having breakfast ready at 4:00 a.m., that was a big help. Getting to or from the airport and Malaga city centre, including the port, Alcazaba and Calle Larios, took around 15 minutes by car. We definitely recommend staying here when visiting Malaga.
