Letmalaga Sweet Family

We went with a big group a while back. It works well enough if all you need is somewhere to sleep, but the building is very basic. Getting to central Málaga takes some effort since the hostel is outside downtown. The beds wobble, and both the mattresses and bedding are thin. Breakfast is mostly packaged bread and rolls.

The place has a boarding-school feel, and breakfast was mediocre, more like a school cafeteria. For what you get, it costs far too much. I didn't enjoy the stay and wouldn't recommend it. I had booked a room with two beds, but was given a different one. When I raised it, they said the rooms I wanted were fully booked. The hotel is also a long way from the city center, so you need to take a bus, and the bus is always late, leaving you waiting and wasting time. I really regret booking here.

The location is handy, around a 20-minute walk to both the center and Maria Zambrano station. Rooms are pleasant, though a bit small unless you're on your own, and the shower is a good size. Breakfast comes with the stay but is pretty basic: coffee, regular, lactose-free and soy milk, tea, orange juice, bread, cheese, butter, jam, olive oil, cereal, muffins, and fruit like apples, pears and nectarines.

The bed was comfortable, the staff were kind, and the food was pretty good. I had a pleasant stay.
