Being so central makes getting around quick, and most tourist sights are easy to reach on foot. The location also means constant noise from every direction: the apartment is on a corner near several nightclubs and pubs that stay open until 6 a.m. We bought earplugs after the first night, which helped a little. If you like staying out late, it might be an adequate place to stay. The apartment is basic. It has some crockery, but no prep knives, so you’ll need to get takeout or avoid cutting anything you want to cook. The only cleaning supplies were a small bottle of dish soap and a disposable cloth. There are no laundry pods or detergent, although there is a washing machine. The owner told me to bring my own or buy some after arriving. Each person gets just one bath towel and one hand towel, however long the stay, and the owner said no more would be provided. That makes it unhygienic for a longer visit when you can’t wash the towels. The bathroom looks neat in the pictures, but there’s a foul smell, perhaps from standing water or something else. There’s nowhere in the shower to put your products, and the floor wasn’t very clean, so keeping things in there was difficult. The apartment looked tidy when we arrived, but some areas had clearly been wiped without being cleaned properly. I had a bad experience because I want to sleep peacefully, have what I need to keep my space clean, and be able to use the bathroom comfortably.
