The beach and Mercadona are only a one-minute walk away, and the kitchen has everything you need. The washing machine costs just 2€, which is a nice extra. I also appreciated having curtains on the beds, towels, sheets, and lockers for some privacy. It’s a calm, relaxed hostel with lots of daylight and roomy common areas. Everything was super clean, especially the bathrooms and bedrooms. The staff were lovely, friendly, and understanding. I really liked staying here and will be back again and again 🩷🩷💪🏻

I stayed longer than planned because of the location and Johnny’s hands-on help. He’s the on-site manager and keeps a close eye on things. The hostel was very clean, and everything worked. It’s handy for the Cervantes Language School, a supermarket, and the beach, and the rooftop is lovely. The road junction nearby is noisy, and in December some of the other guests were quite strange. Thanks, Johnny, for being so helpful.

I couldn’t sleep and ended up leaving. The hostel sits on a very busy, noisy intersection, and every room faces the street. Someone in my shared room was ill and coughing day and night. On my second night I called to ask whether I could move, since other rooms were empty. The woman I spoke with knew the person had been sick all week, but lectured me that noise comes with sharing a room. I was surprised no one had moved the sick guest earlier. The place was clean, and the daytime staff were helpful.

The roof terrace is a lovely spot for breakfast in the sun, and I had some nice chats with the manager. He’s friendly and clearly puts a lot into keeping the hostel running. The location suited us: it feels removed from the city, but shops and restaurants are still walkable, and the bus makes it easy to spend a day or two in town. It seems especially handy for beach lovers. You’ll hear the occasional siren or car from the main road, but most people should be able to sleep through it. The beds are new and fairly comfortable. The bathroom feels older, and the showers are handheld, but that was easy enough to overlook.

The beach is just a five-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby. Getting to the city center takes about 15 minutes by car, so the location can work well if you’re trying to save money. I especially liked the patios and terraces for guests. The hostel was clean, the kitchen had lots of equipment, and our host was lovely, kind, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
