The house is an authentic and comfortable example of Cantabria’s mountain architecture, and it sits in the middle of a lovely nature reserve. Beautiful beaches are within a 30-minute drive. María was a wonderful host.

A comfortable, charming house with good equipment and some antique furniture. It’s well placed for enjoying the surrounding nature, whether walking in the mountains or canoeing, and the beach is a half-hour drive away. A lovely spot for a relaxing holiday.

María made us feel very welcome and shared great suggestions for places to see and eat nearby. The country house is beautifully decorated, with charm in every corner. We had a perfect stay and will definitely come back.

We spent three days here and already hope to stay longer next time. María, Tamara, and their dog Dora made us feel at home. The bedroom was spacious, the bed really comfortable, and everything we needed was there. The house is beautiful, welcoming, and tastefully decorated, with outstanding cleanliness. We loved the shared spaces and the little garden for relaxing. There are lots of hiking trails nearby, and María can tell you about them. The town and area are beautiful too. A perfect place to recharge, and one I’d highly recommend.

The fireplace made the house feel so inviting, especially since it was already lit when we arrived. We had a wonderful three days in this lovely little place, decorated down to the smallest detail and furnished like a fully functioning home.
