Apartamento be holiday Santiago

Apartment number 1 had a view of the cathedral and was well equipped, but the sofa bed made it a two-star stay for me. It's hard, uneven and really hurt my back, so I couldn't sleep or get any rest. Rest is a priority when you're staying somewhere. I hope they take this review as a reason to replace it.

A quiet, clean, well-equipped place, and a good price for a short stay. It's about a five-minute walk from the main square of Cáceres, far enough away that you don't get the bustle.

The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with lots of kitchenware, a large fridge with a separate freezer, and a washing machine. Location is excellent, just steps from the Plaza Mayor. There are reasonably priced grocery stores around, and the nearest supermarket is a 10-minute walk. Street parking nearby isn't metered, and you can pull right up beside the apartment briefly to unload luggage or groceries.

María Eugenia kindly helped us out, explained how to get around the city and treated us to a wonderful meal. The old house has been carefully renovated, keeping its original features while adding modern comforts, and it offers excellent value for the price and location. It's tucked into a quiet little square behind the Church of Santiago, in the heart of the historic center. A lovely peaceful base for walking the cobbled streets. The Plaza Mayor and the rest of the medieval old town are just minutes away, impressive and familiar to fans of "Game of Thrones".
