Fernando took such good care of us, from booking through arrival. He met us at the door, explained everything, answered our questions, and shared tips about the city. The apartment was spotless, new, pleasant, and relaxing. It was the best one I’ve stayed in while travelling, and it’s just two minutes from the city walls. We were three couples with a family, and there was room for everyone: three separate bedrooms with no sofa beds, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, and split-level living room. It also had two large TVs, Wi-Fi, and a generous breakfast with coffee, milk, pastries, and more. The beds were comfortable, the building was quiet and centrally located, and a parking space was included if your car wasn’t too big.

That little chalkboard saying “Thank you for booking with us” made us feel at home as soon as we arrived. Fernando had already seemed warm and friendly when we spoke by phone using the number on his website. The house is stylish, spotless, comfortable, and really welcoming. Breakfast was like something from a top hotel buffet, and there’s a parking space, two sets of keys if you need them, and recommendations for lunch and dinner on business cards. It’s right in the middle of Cáceres’ old town. We’d love to come back.

The place has been completely renovated and is very central, which is handy. The downside is that it’s in a pedestrian area, so you have to carry your luggage quite a distance. We also couldn’t watch TV, since neither of the two sets had been adapted for the switch-off of digital terrestrial television (DTT) SD.

The owner is extremely kind, and his tips on places to see and restaurants are well worth following. The house is right in the center of the city and has everything you’d expect to have at home. A spectacular place to stay while visiting Cáceres.
