Talaván is a lovely little town, with narrow streets and a park, between Plasencia and Caceres. The guest house is also close to Monfraguë National Park. Breakfast was a little sparse for my taste, but the stay was excellent value.

We got in late and were off early, but she was a lovely host. The room was super clean, and I slept well. Such a nice place.

The village was small, quaint and quiet, and only about 10 minutes from the motorway. I got toast and jam, coffee and orange juice in the morning. After being delayed in Southern Spain on my long drive back to the UK, I booked at short notice and arrived very late. The owner kindly let me bring my three dogs. The room was lovely, with comfortable beds and spotless cleanliness. I'd happily stay again.

We had to leave early, and the owner kindly made us breakfast ahead of time. She was consistently warm but discreet. Before bed, we enjoyed a little time in the cool patio air, chatting among the flowerpots. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The peace and quiet made our stay especially nice, and we were warmly welcomed. We slept comfortably, and breakfast was very good. We'd get in touch again if we have the chance to return. Thanks again.
