The walk into the city was pleasant and manageable, about 28 minutes with our child to the edge of the Old Town. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and there’s parking a minute away for €10 a night. In the off-season, street parking might have been free, but after the long drive we didn’t want to search for a spot. We stayed at Regio Cádiz for four nights, including New Year’s Eve. A bottle of champagne and two glasses were waiting for us, a thoughtful welcome. Our room had a balcony, though it wasn’t somewhere we’d spend much time. Breakfast was the same each day, but there was enough choice, including fresh bread, some cheeses, and ingredients to make your own muesli. There weren’t many vegetables, but it suited a hotel of this size. A comfortable choice for a shorter stay while exploring Cádiz.

The mini fridge in the room came in very handy. There’s parking nearby, and the staff, rooms, and location were all wonderful. Outstanding hotel con mucho arte! I’d definitely come back.

For what you pay, it’s good value for the chingo, even if it’s not the Ritz. The location is great, just two minutes from a VERY nice beach, with Old Town about a 30 minute walk away. Recommended!
