Tandem Puerto Chico

The receptionist was lovely and made check-in and check-out easy. We really liked how close the spacious, clean apartments were to attractions, local places to eat, and markets.

The staff were amazing. They brought our bags up to the room before check-in without us even asking. The accommodation was modern, beautiful, and spotless. The TV and coffee machine had a few issues, but otherwise it was perfect. Thank you.

The location is good, and the place is basically self-service, more like an Airbnb than a hotel. There isn't a 24-hour front desk, so late check-in or a last-minute booking could be stressful. Online check-in and a deposit are required one or more days ahead, and I found the process a bit confusing. The room was clean, but because our two rooms were on the ground floor, with no windows except the one facing the front desk and public area, there was a damp, moldy smell. They forgot towels for one room, and there were no WiFi instructions. Since we checked in late, we couldn't get help.

We were shocked to find that housekeeping had thrown away most of our things before the stated 12:00 checkout. We had gone out for coffee and expected to be back at 11:30, but when we arrived at 11:20, our creams, food, and some amenities were gone. My child is allergic, and I had specific food for him. The apartment itself was great and in a lovely location, but the service was horrible.
