Hotel Spa Sagitario Playa

I found the hotel disappointing. It feels very dated and needs a serious update. Some areas weren't very clean and needed maintenance, and the food options were poor, especially for vegetarians and vegans. Some of the staff were lovely, but that didn't make up for the condition of the hotel.

The hotel was incredibly clean and the staff were amazing. When there was a mix-up with our room, they went above and beyond to sort it out, and we were really grateful. That said, the place is dated and could use some care. It also wasn't family friendly for us: every night there was a very loud band playing outside from 9pm, and it kept waking our baby. We wish we'd known beforehand, because the noise made the holiday really stressful and we wouldn't have stayed.

The food selection could be better, but otherwise it's a nice hotel in a good spot. The beach and bars are close, and there are quite a few shops and supermarkets nearby. I'd definitely go back.

We were impressed by the hotel during our four-night stay. It's on a quiet street, so we slept well, and the location is great: Playa Cala Blanca and the pier, where we watched beautiful sunsets, are both about a four-minute walk away. Breakfast was delicious, the spa was a lovely bonus, and the staff were kind and welcoming. We'd definitely recommend it as a place to stay in Menorca.
