The vibe is really laid back, with low-key music, entertainment every night, and lots of seating and loungers, so there’s no rush to find a place to sunbathe. Cala Bona centre is a lovely walk of about ten minutes away. Food, snacks and drinks are available throughout the day, with plenty of choice. The rooms are a little dated, but very clean, and the whole hotel is spotless and well kept. Everyone was accommodating, and Fabian gave us a lovely welcome when we arrived.

We were a group of 12 with kids, and our only complaint was that the prices have got too high for a three-star hotel set back from the beach. We'd love to return next year if they were more reasonable. The staff were helpful from the start, bringing extra mattresses for sofa beds and fans for rooms that needed them. Our room was huge and immaculate, though very warm because the air conditioning wasn't great. The food had something for everyone, we never got bored, and the cocktails were top notch. There were no sunbed battles, and the lifeguard was a friendly guy with no issues. The entertainment was brilliant too. Alex and his team were so funny and nice that even those of us who don't usually join in got involved.

We booked after reading glowing reviews, but the food was so bad that we ate out every day. Nothing had any flavour. The vegetables, including the mushrooms, were tinned and disgusting, and most of the other options were greasy. It felt like a saga holiday, with mostly guests over 60 who perhaps don't notice the difference. The atmosphere was like God's waiting room, with all the life of a morgue. Some staff were nice, but others seemed eager to finish their shifts or hurry us out of meal times. This doesn't deserve three stars, two at best.

The people working here really made our stay special. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Villo and Alex, who ran the entertainment brilliantly. The kids loved the games, activities and fun competitions, and were thrilled with the certificates they got. Our room was a good size and clean. The food and drinks were very good too, with plenty of options for everyone. We had an amazing stay.
