Hipotels Hipocampo Playa

I was really happy with my time here. The sea was perfect, the rooms and evening buffet were awesome, and I enjoyed some of the night activities too. What more can you ask for?

I'm dreading the next 8 days here. The room is tiny, the view is poor, and the bed is one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on, even compared with military training.

We had a great selection of tasty food. We'd booked 7 nights with breakfast and paid for dinner one evening; it was very good, with much more than industrial food. The hotel isn't modern in style, so that may disappoint you if that's what you're expecting. The balconies were nice and the double bed was big. There was also a small indoor pool, which came in handy during the two days of bad weather, plus a small gym and a sauna that I didn't try. The sandy beach right in front is lovely, and the location is good if you want to take day trips to see cities. If you want to be in a city, though, this isn't the right spot: it's basically a tourist resort with lots of hotels. There's lots of free parking around the hotel. I'd suggest renting a car, since the island is huge and there are many places you might want to visit.

We had a sea-view room, and the view was astonishing when the sky was clear. Even with clouds, it still looked beautiful. The location was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the holiday feel luxurious and relaxing. Breakfast had a big variety of quality food, something to look forward to each morning. There were also lots of delicious cocktails at reasonable prices. The price was very reasonable too. I'd definitely recommend it.
