Hotel Millor Sol

We didn't get to try dinner at the hotel, though I'd heard it was good. The nightly entertainment was enjoyable, and while I'd read complaints about noise, it didn't bother us. The doors were pretty soundproof and the entertainment ended at a normal time, so our sleep wasn't disrupted. The pool was great too, as was breakfast. We stayed in early September when the weather was great, in a standard room. We arrived at about 4am, but the 24-hour reception made check-in easy. Everyone was super friendly and easy to talk to, with good English. Our room was clean and just right, with a great view and comfy beds. Housekeeping was offered every weekday, and the whole hotel was very clean. Staff at reception, the bar, and restaurant were all friendly. The hotel is an easy walk from Cala Millor's main area. It was great value, with a mix of families and couples staying there. Couldn't have asked for better and would love to return.

Dinner started too late for me, so I never managed to try it. The pool was large and easy to get into, but only open 10:00-18:00. Longer hours, or even one evening swim each week, would help guests who spend the day exploring. I paid roughly €900 for nine nights, which felt fair, though I was charged double occupancy despite travelling alone, so check your booking details carefully. I had a pleasant nine-night solo stay. The hotel was spotless inside and out, and my fourth-floor room was fresh, well equipped, and had a lovely view of the pool and palms. The lifts worked efficiently, and the bright, modern lobby was a nice place to relax. Breakfast was excellent each morning, with plenty of hot and cold choices. Staff were consistently friendly. When I reported a broken shower mixer, it was fixed the next day. Housekeepers respected my space when I put up the “Do Not Disturb” sign. The corner room faced the neighboring block, which could look straight in, so I had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The walls are very thin too. You can hear everything when there's music outside, and sometimes the neighbors, which can get disturbing. It's about a 15-minute walk to the beach. With a little more pool time, earlier dinner, and better privacy in corner rooms, this calm, clean base with kind staff and good breakfasts would earn five stars from me.

The staff were very nice, especially the restaurant team, and breakfast had lots of really good options. Our room was clean and only a couple of minutes from the beach. The sole small downside was the poor soundproofing. At night we could hear babies crying, people talking, and even snoring from other rooms.
