Ca l'Apotecari

The apartments look lovely, with new furniture and everything brand new. But dealing with the owner was really unpleasant. Every detail has to be agreed with her and perfectly coordinated, or she’ll charge you for it. She’s very stingy with supplies too, giving you very little shower gel and just one dishwasher tablet a day. I’ve never come across that kind of penny-pinching in another rental.

The pool was easily the best part, and the apartment itself was great. The rooms got hot, though, since the only air conditioning is in the kitchen-dining room. We spotted a fan in the shared lounge on our last day and asked if we could take it upstairs. They let us, no problem, but staff could have offered it earlier.

Albert was so attentive to everything we needed, and they even gave us a little bottle of local olive oil. Thanks for making our time away from home so easy. The place was spotless, with three bathrooms and an elevator that helped with luggage and people with reduced mobility. Our apartment for four had a sofa bed, and the kitchen came with utensils, a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave. The air conditioning was only in the living room. There’s a friendly, family feel, and it’s close to the historic center. The shared heated pool was perfect, while the games room and ping pong table were a nice extra for the kids. The rooms were spacious. Highly recommended.

We stayed in the Sant Cristovol apartment and felt at home straight away. Albert, who looks after the apartment, was brilliant, kind and friendly. Everything was just right.
