Puerta Terrer

We were five and paid 72€ for two menus at 15€, one half menu, an Entrecôte, and a kids' menu. The portions were generous, and everything we ordered tasted great. Service was quick too: we got there at 13h and were leaving for our trip by 14h. This was our second visit, and we'll definitely come back. Great value for money!

The paleta de cordero was the standout for me at Restaurante Puerta de Terrer. It was slow cooked until tender and falling off the bone, with enough seasoning to bring out the lamb's flavor. We also found the other dishes carefully prepared, with local ingredients and lovely presentation, and there was a good wine selection. The cozy, elegant room worked well for our meal with family or friends, and the staff were attentive and kind throughout. In Calatayud's historic center, the restaurant brings together tradition, good food, and warm hospitality. It's a real treasure for locals or visitors, and I'd absolutely recommend it. Don't miss the paleta de cordero!

I keep coming back here whenever I'm in town. The daily menu was 11.50€, or 15€ on weekends, and the food is great for the price. Last time I had the chicken crepes with leeks and the hojaldre with vegetables, both memorable, though the homemade desserts deserve a mention too. Even when the place is full, the service is diligent and kind, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a good choice. Make a reservation.

Friendly, quick service and a cozy, child friendly place. The food is incredible. I'll come back next time I'm in Calatayud.
