We were in the campervan area, and the facilities right by the parking are great: the toilets and showers always had really hot water. The auberge staff were friendly and helpful, and most days we could get bread, plus meals at the bar. It’s very peaceful, with lovely scenery all around, and the drive in is beautiful and worth making. The entrance is a little awkward, though our 7m van managed fine. It’s close to fantastic climbing, so we’ll be back.

The cave houses are worth looking out for. This place is really tucked away, but the food is good and the people are friendly.

All good.

The weather had forced it to close, but the woman who runs the place opened the bar so 35 of us could get coffee. Many thanks from the Virgen del Carmen Mountain Club of Zaragoza.
