The owner was incredibly kind and let us stay in the apartment until 3 pm. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the central location was great. Everything was perfect, really fantastic!

We were three and had plenty of room. The apartment behind the basilica seems to have been recently renovated, and it’s done in excellent taste. It was spotless, linens included, and very well equipped, even with chargers. They’d left thoughtful extras like coffee, tea, and treats, and were easy to reach. Parking is about 100 meters away. We got a negotiated rate of €15 a day instead of €20. We highly recommend it.

Santiago deserves a special mention. He was very kind, helpful, and attentive. I spoke with him the day before, and he explained the parking and made it easier for us. He welcomed us, gave us two sets of keys, and showed us where the basic amenities were and how to use them. He also let us check out a little later, after lunch on our last day. That depended on his availability and whether another guest had booked, but there was no one after us, so it was no problem. The service was excellent. The apartment is tucked on a narrow, very quiet street that feels almost medieval. There’s no view, but no nearby businesses either, and the nights are peaceful. It’s behind the Cathedral of the Savior (La Seo), just a few meters from the Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar, and an easy walk to Jaime I and Alfonso I. From there you can reach the busy, typical parts of the city, with pedestrian avenues, narrow streets, museums, sights, and the famous “Tubo” with its bars and tapas bars. If you arrive by car, you can’t park right by the apartment or on its street. The owner suggests leaving the car across the river near the iron bridge and walking over, which takes about fifteen minutes and is easy with Google Maps. There’s parking in that neighborhood, and you avoid the old town parking hassle and its cost of over €25 a day. A rip-off. There’s an elevator, a full bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a living room with a plasma TV. It’s a one-bedroom apartment, ideal for two. Someone else could use the sofa bed, but I didn’t find it very comfortable. For a couple, even though it’s small, it’s more than enough. We only used the refrigerator and air conditioning, which is very necessary in summer because Zaragoza gets really hot. There’s a Nespresso machine if you bring capsules, and if you bring a liter of milk and some food from home, you can have breakfast without going out. The photos in the listing match what’s there. The apartment provides two sets of towels and small bottles of shower gel and shampoo, depending on how long you stay. You’ll probably run out after a couple of showers, so bring extra towels and shower gel in your toiletry bag. For a short stay like ours, it wasn’t really necessary. I understand everyone looks after their own hygiene, and we always bring our own products, along with anything else we might need. It’s a great place to spend a few days in Zaragoza, very clean, central, and handy for relaxing and exploring the city.

We stayed a few weeks ago and the owner was so friendly. The apartment was very clean and well looked after, and I didn’t miss my own pillow at all! Great location too. If it’s free next time we travel, we’ll book again. Thank you!
