Being right on the Camino made it easy to get going for the next day’s walk. The room was modern and spotless, and that rainfall shower felt amazing after a long day on foot. Check-in, breakfast, and the restaurant are at the main Hotel Pousada, about a two-minute walk up the road. The food was nice, and the staff were friendly and helpful. At check-in they give you a sheet to choose breakfast, which you return to reception that evening. There was plenty to pick from. We had tasty scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, mini croissants, pain au chocolat and brioches, plus good coffee.

We really appreciated the secure place to store our bicycles. The room was lovely and clean, with a view of the church steeple and square, and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you!

The Wi-Fi was painfully slow, which was the one downside. Otherwise, a lovely hotel and a VERY comfortable bed.

We had to shut the windows at night because of the street noise, so the room got a bit warm. Still, we loved it: lots of space, very clean, a great bathroom, and a central location.

Walking the Portuguese Way from Porto, this was my number one stop. It was very well located, and the price felt like half or even a third of what the same accommodation would cost in a city. The room was cozy and lovely, with a very comfortable mattress, toiletries and a full bathroom. They also leave complimentary water and coffee. Check-in is at another establishment about 200 meters away, and you can choose to have breakfast.
