The room was clean, well stocked, and smelled fresh when we arrived. We had space on the balcony for a table and two chairs, and the loose handle on the balcony door was still usable. The room was just right as a place to sleep. Hallways were a bit neglected, and we heard some noise from the groups of young adults and students, though it didn't spoil our holiday. We saw security speak to someone on our floor about a noise complaint, which was good to see. The evening entertainment was always good. We last stayed in 2017 and were unsure about booking again, but the hotel has improved and we're glad we gave it another chance. Reception, bar, and cleaning staff were all welcoming from arrival to checkout. The location worked perfectly, with a supermarket opposite, bars, restaurants, and shops a short walk away, and the train station about ten minutes away for trips to Barcelona or nearby towns and villages. We could leave our luggage after the 10 am checkout and still use the facilities and bar while waiting for our 6 pm transfer. I also got two free glasses of cava as a surprise birthday gift from the bar, which was a lovely gesture. The only real downside for us was smoke from people on nearby balconies drifting into our room. Otherwise, we loved the stay and would book again.

The view from our seventh-floor room was beautiful, and the location was handy, with Mercadona across the road, about a two-minute walk away, and the beach under seven minutes away. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Tito, Alan, Aida and the other receptionists were always smiling and happy to chat. The restaurant had a wide choice of very good food. I wouldn't be surprised if I gain a few pounds after the trip. One of the best hotels in the chain.

For a big group of students like ours, this was great value for money. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel. Some of the cold food wasn't great, like the cheap ham, but dinner was better and everyone could find something they liked. The rooms were basic but clean, and the air conditioning worked well. It's not a luxury hotel, but it worked well for a school trip to Catalonia. The sea, a good supermarket, McDonalds, and Burgerking were nearby, which suited the students. Barcelona was an hour away by our school coach.

The foyer looks welcoming and is nicely decorated, but after that the hotel feels neglected and badly in need of renovation. Corridors and rooms are worn and dated. My room had broken tiles, a cracked rusty shower curtain pole, and a water-damaged sink unit that was falling apart. The patio door lock barely held, so it didn't feel secure, and there was a constant drain smell. Noise was a serious problem. The walls are paper-thin, so everything from neighbouring rooms carries through, and the air conditioning was loud. Reviews mentioned nighttime noise from groups of young students. We avoided most of it with earplugs. People often smoked on balconies and it drifted into our room, too. Using the safe cost €8 a day, which felt excessive since safes have been free in every other hotel I've stayed at. It might suit large student groups looking for a cheap base. If you want comfort, cleanliness, and a peaceful stay, I wouldn't choose this place.
