Nº43 BAVIERA GOLF

Baviera GC made it easy to join for three months, which was ideal for me, and I commend the club for offering that option. I’m back in the UK now, but I hope to visit again and might look at membership options. The course isn’t long, but it’s tricky and challenging for golfers of any level. The greens really test you, and a few pin positions are fantastic, or horrendous! The Pro-shop and Clubhouse are lovely. There’s plenty of parking nearby, both at ground level and underground. A small Cafe sits by the practice range, chipping area, and putting green, conveniently on the way to the 1st and 10th tees. I visited as a member and want to thank all the personnel for their welcome and help. The Staff were friendly, helpful, very polite, and always smiling. Members and visitors from different Nationalities were friendly too, and happy to invite me to play with them. Mucho Gracias!

We had lunch in the clubhouse after hole #9, and the outdoor seating was nice. Lunch was okay, though the clubsandwich was a bit fatty and didn’t seem freshly prepared. We were able to start the next round right after eating, which was great, and the hike from #10 to #18 was a pleasure. We rented buggies and golf set's and played all 18 holes. Reception and the store are downstairs, and the staff there were very friendly and welcoming. A nice course, good service, and an okay lunch. I’d recommend a round here.

I played the course during an IAGTO event, and it was fantastic. The greens were true and receptive. Carlos and his team at the club were amazing throughout the day, thanks to them!

The customer service was excellent, and it’s a great golf course.
