The owner didn't speak English, but put in a real effort to make herself understood. Our room was large and spotless, and dinner was a first-class three-course meal. We'd happily stay again.

The setting is wonderful, and the place itself is very pretty. It's a rural hotel, so you shouldn't expect much in the way of luxuries. Everything was clean and tidy, but the bed was really uncomfortable because the springs stuck out. The food tasted good, though it stayed the same throughout our four days. The staff were attentive, but not especially warm. With a few improvements, I think this could be a magnificent place that I'd readily recommend.

The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and the place was clean. Some small things were missing, like hand soap, and the towels didn't match. Dinner was offered as a set menu for €18, which felt quite expensive. The dining room also shuts at 10:00 PM, even for hotel guests.
