I paid nearly 800 euro in good faith, thinking the taxes and fees were all taken care of. Then the small print said I had to pay another 100 euro at check in, and the attitude when I asked about it was despicable. The hotel cancelled, even though I’d stayed there several times. They won’t see me again.
The pool music was loud enough to spoil the chance of a quiet, relaxing break there, so it may not suit you if that’s what you want. The food was generally good, although there weren’t many vegetarian choices and more variety for people who don’t eat meat would be welcome. The hotel is comfortable and has an old-fashioned charm, but it does feel a bit dated.
We really enjoyed our stay. The service was attentive throughout, especially at the restaurant.
We went in early November, and while the days were hot and sunny, it got cold in the mornings and evenings. I should have brought warmer clothes. There’s a wonderful Indian restaurant just off the beach, and lots of supermarkets are only a short walk away. The hotel is right beside a very quiet beach, and the receptionist was lovely and very helpful. The rooms are dated, but had what we needed, including a comfortable bed, a bath and shower, and plenty of hot water.
Everything else was very good and satisfactory, but I didn’t have hot water in the shower.
