Week 8/23 It only takes about 5 minutes to drive into town. The beds were good, which matters to me because of my back. I expected duvets, though, since the house isn't insulated and gets cold at night. Some updates are needed, especially in the kitchen, one bathroom, and around the pool. The kitchen is missing a few things for cooking properly. I liked having a gas stove, but the burners don't work, and the gas lighter is nearly out. The starter supplies were small: a sponge and dish soap for 3 days, plus one dishwasher tablet and one washing machine tablet.

The place had what we needed for a pleasant stay, and it was very clean. When I asked for something, maintenance brought it over in under 15 minutes. The house itself was fine.

That pool was the highlight for me. It was really clean, and the water felt lovely.
