Aparthotel Novo Mar

We felt really comfortable here and would happily recommend it. The staff were professional, warm and helpful throughout, and Cristina deserves a special thank you for making our visit even nicer. Our room was clean and well kept, with air conditioning and a little terrace looking mostly onto greenery. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, with lots of choices, including vegetarian options. The beach, shops and bus station are all within walking distance, and reception is open around the clock.

The pool was clean and free to use, and there’s an affordable bar on site. The beach, which looks amazing in the photos, is about a five-minute walk away. I spent a week here and found it cosy, with helpful, friendly staff and a nice breakfast. Thanks for the well-organised service and hospitality!

I left within two hours and booked another hotel. The Wi-Fi failed in both rooms, first the 7th-floor Junior Suite and then the room I was moved to on the 3rd floor. Staff initially blamed my phone and laptop instead of acknowledging the apparent infrastructure problem, which made an already bad start more frustrating. The rooms also felt bare, short on basic amenities, and furnished with cheap-looking furniture and artwork. Staff eventually let me leave and charged just one night, but the hassle and low quality weren’t worth the price. Moving to a nearby hotel was the best decision of my trip.

There’s a great atmosphere around the hotel, with shops and restaurants right outside the gate and a beach an easy walk away. We booked an upper-floor apartment and had a lovely ocean view from its large balcony. The rooms were clean, and the property sits right in the centre of Paguera. Parking costs 10 Euros per night. I’d definitely recommend it.
