Vibra Beverly Playa Hotel

The longest waits were for the elevators, and the hotel really needs to do something about them. People also left towels beside the pool, so finding a spot could be tricky. We only wanted sunbeds now and then, and didn’t need all eight together. The bathrooms could use an update as well. We were there for challenge Peguera at the end of the season, and the staff were still smiling and so helpful. Our rooms were nice, and having a fridge was a great bonus. Breakfast was really good. We were a group of eight and had some trouble sitting together, but we managed. Even with the workload and the season coming to an end, almost everyone was cheerful and ready to help.

The food seemed more geared toward German guests. The cafe needs to do better: the chips were stale and lukewarm, and the burgers were dry and cold. For an all-inclusive snack bar, the quality really needs to be better. The room was lovely with amazing views, and the pool area was clean and well kept. I was frustrated there wasn’t a kettle in the room. Since my last visit eight years ago, the hotel has been revamped and is now really nice, very clean, and in the best location. People complain that the hotel is full of foreigners, but Paguera is mostly a German resort and you’re abroad, so of course there’ll be foreign visitors. I’ve also seen complaints about the pool being cold. It’s water, and if you visit out of season it will be cold.

The location was stunning, and there was a good variety of food and activities. I booked a single room, but it was surprisingly spacious, almost like a double. It was cleaned daily, and towels were changed when requested. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a really comfortable stay, with all the services arranged perfectly. I’d highly recommend this hotel to families, as there are lots of activities for kids and families.

The food was the main letdown. The restaurant was very large, but served nearly the same things each day, and the quality wasn’t great. A lot of it seemed undercooked. The upstairs cafe also kept the same food out all day, and it was cold and hard. The puddings and drinks were nice, though. The hotel staff were excellent, and the entertainers were full of life and made our stay enjoyable. Our room was large and very clean, with everything we needed, including a mini fridge, safe, and big wardrobe. The chambermaid was very friendly. There were three outdoor pools, plus an indoor one that we couldn’t see because its door was locked. There was also a gym and pool tables. The hotel is close to the beach and shops, and some lovely restaurants serving excellent food. Two people in our party hired mobility scooters because they couldn’t walk far. Getting to the lower dining room meant riding all the way around, as there are more steps after the lifts and no scooter access. They also had to go right around the outside of the hotel to reach the beach. Steps up to the shops meant my family had to take the long way around again. In the end, the poor disability access put them off. We got back yesterday from hotel vibra beverly playa. I’d like to thank all the staff, every one of you works so hard.
