FERGUS Bermudas

It was nice having a small, quiet hotel, and my 11-year-old nearly had the pool to herself. The food gave us something different each night over our seven-night stay, and we had no complaints. Rooms were very clean and were cleaned daily when requested. The staff were friendly from the moment we arrived, nothing seemed like a problem, and they even remembered our bar order. Gabrielle deserves a special mention for always making time for us, checking we were happy and putting on activities for the kids. A real credit to the hotel. I was there with my 17- and 11-year-olds, and we’ll definitely come back.

The rooms were spacious and lovely, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout. Gabriel was especially entertaining and helped make the holiday fun. We really enjoyed the stay and appreciated the service. The pool could be larger for the number of guests. Food was okay but could be better, perhaps with an omelette station or freshly made choices. Evening entertainment ended quite early, and the room was too small to find seats easily. It felt like a missed chance, given all the outdoor space that might be used to expand the entertainment area.

The location was ideal, just three minutes on foot to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants, and a 15-minute walk to the centre of Magaluf. We booked a week through jet 2 and plan to stay again. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with friendly, accommodating staff. Our spacious family room had two large singles pushed together as a double, plus two separate single beds for the children. That was much better than the usual double z bed and why we chose this hotel. The pool was clean and big enough, with sunbeds always available during our stay. A lifeguard was around, and staff regularly cleaned and reset the beds. Meals were plentiful at breakfast, lunch and dinner, though a bit similar day to day. For the freshest food, get to the restaurant as it opens.

Gabriel and his team made us feel welcome and comfortable, and we loved staying here. My daughter Daisy loved the kids club and pool, and the rooms were cleaned to perfection. There was plenty of food to choose from, though it wasn’t quite to my taste. We’ll be back next year. Thanks for a perfect Easter break!
