FERGUS Club Europa

As a parent living with incurable cancer, I was deeply moved by how the whole team went above and beyond to make our week special. Everyone showed us compassion and kindness, and my eight-year-old daughter will have memories to last her life. I truly hope I’m well enough, and for long enough, to visit again. We’ll always be grateful. We arrived to an upgrade from our original booking, into a lovely room in the Magnus area. It was spacious and well managed, with a bathrobe, slippers, PlayStation, complimentary minibar and a great double shower. The other rooms are lovely and well maintained too. There was loads for families: delicious food, lovely drinks, a perfect bus service to the beach, fun candy floss and popcorn machines, and brilliant children’s entertainment. Magnus suites have access to three pools, while the other side has two, and all were fantastic. The hotel and location are wonderful for families. I wish we could have stayed forever. Thank you for everything.

The hilly layout is the one thing to plan for, especially since the suites are at the top. We got used to taking everything we needed when leaving the room in the morning, and it wasn’t a real drawback. We’ve just come back from Fergus Club Europa with our three children, all under three, and loved it. The place has a simple, genuine focus on families that shows in everything, and the staff were friendly, helpful and clearly experienced with families. Our room was clean and spacious enough for all five of us. The pool felt cold first thing, then warmed through the day. The kids didn’t mind the temperature and had a wonderful time. We’d happily return and recommend it to families with young children.

We had a wonderful week in a beautiful location. On arrival we were quickly given our room key and a full map, and the jet 2 staff were there all day to explain the shuttle buses. We stayed in the magnus area, which was busy but not too crowded. The food was amazing and the entertainment was great too.

The trails around the hotel were a highlight for me, with plenty of running routes and spectacular views. We came with our partner and two-year-old and had an amazing time. The food had loads of variety, and I especially liked the chicken kebabs. There’s an extensive kids’ programme and lots to do nearby. The staff were so helpful and always took time to engage with our daughter, especially Carlos and Diogo. We’d absolutely come back.
