Casablanca Apartments

The location is great, just a two-minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and shops. The hotel is clean, lovely, and the staff are really helpful. The pool bar is good too, and the guy working there is a good laugh. The hotel itself deserves 4 stars, but it's very poorly laid out, which is why I'm giving it 2. I was woken at 7am every morning by furniture being dragged around above my room under the restaurant. The awful noise went on for hours. The pool is lovely, but the hotel needs to address people leaving towels on sunbeds and not using them. About 50-60% of the beds had towels but were empty. I've added videos of the restaurant noise.

The hotel's cleanliness was top notch, and everyone else we dealt with during our four-night stay was pleasant and professional. But one rude encounter left us with a bad taste and spoiled what had otherwise been a pleasant holiday. We had three rooms booked. The receptionist said he'd upgraded them for free, but when I asked whether we could switch one room from the ground floor, he became aggressive and hostile. He thought we wanted more freebies and threatened to throw us out.

The hotel was a lovely surprise for a trip with my 14-year-old son. It was clean, spacious, and had what we needed for a nice holiday. Breakfast and dinner had a few options, and we could eat indoors or outside with a view of the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a lovely touch that they remembered my drink order. Our clean, tidy room was serviced daily with fresh towels. It had a large balcony overlooking the pool, with a sea view. There wasn't any evening entertainment, but there was a pool table and chilled music in the background. The beach, local bars, and restaurants were just five minutes away. We took the bus into Palma one day, and another day enjoyed the boat trip to Dragon Island, as the hotel staff recommended. The food was delicious, with lots of variety and fresh choices every day, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and family-friendly. At Hotel Casablanca in Santa Ponsa, everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were so kind and attentive. They even prepared special food for our baby each evening, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made the stay more special. We'd definitely return and highly recommend it.
