Sol House Mallorca Hotel

The room had a great pool and sea view, and check-in and check-out were easy. Staff were nice, and the location was lovely, about two minutes on foot from the beach with lots of shops close by. A couple of things in the room needed attention: the handle was a bit damaged, and the toilet seat had been broken before and looked like someone had glued it back together. We were near the lifts, so early-morning noise was very loud, with drunk people shouting in the corridors and banging doors. It could be hard to sleep. Still, we had a really nice stay, and it'd be good to see some improvements ❤️

The room smelled of sewage all the time, and the short curtains let the sun in from 5 a.m., making sleep difficult. Housekeeping was often noisy in the corridors early in the morning and woke guests up. We paid an extra €45 per night for one more person in a double room, which felt excessive. Room service was poor, with no proper cleaning or bed making, just fresh towels. I was also disappointed to see used cups rinsed in the bathroom sink and put back. I wouldn't stay here again.

Nathan was brilliant when I asked for help arranging a birthday surprise for my daughter in her room. He went above and beyond and even came to find us to check everything was all right. I was pleasantly surprised by our four-day trip to Sol House Hotel, from 30/09 to 04/10. The rooms were spacious and clean, and there are great restaurants just minutes away along the beach. There were some noisy ‘hard core’ holidaymakers, but that's Magaluf, and out of season it wasn't bad at all. I'd definitely recommend it and book again out of season, though I can imagine it gets noisy in season.

There was no peace at the pool during the day or anywhere at night. People screamed and shouted constantly, and the noise was unbearable. The guests acted like football hooligans, and the hotel felt like a zoo. The rooms were too small and weren't cleaned properly. It was the worst holiday I've ever had, and I never want to return. If you want a quiet, relaxing stay, don't go here. I read the other reviews about noise, and the hotel's response says it offers earplugs. That's ridiculous. You know it's noisy every night, so sort the problem out instead of offering earplugs. This hotel is a joke.
