I needed somewhere quiet with WiFi for a work call, and the owners were happy to make that work. They’re an older couple, and were warm and welcoming the whole time. The place has a tranquil pool and garden, with breakfast available outdoors, and it felt cosy and peaceful. It’s tucked into a cute little side street with mountain views, and at €30 per person per night, it was great value. This was the best hotel I stayed at during my holiday in Spain.

The owners are such a lovely, welcoming couple, and the pool and outdoor space were the cherry on top of a quiet, cosy stay. Breakfast is simple but filling. The rooms are cosy and the bathrooms are shared, though there are enough of them that we never had any friction with other guests. This was my favourite place on my holiday in northern Spain. I’d absolutely come back if I pass through the area again.

We had a cosy stay with a nice, lively atmosphere throughout. Luisa, Julio and Jesús were charming and welcoming, and gave us spot-on pub recommendations as well as lots of ideas for outdoor activities in the amazing nearby areas. Arguably the best place to stay around Potes. Can’t wait to return!
