The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the beds were super comfortable. Breakfast had loads of homemade and homegrown things, including fresh tomatoes and pancakes with delicious honey from their own beehives. The host was super friendly and talked us through different hiking trails and how to reach them easily. Such a special place, with stunning mountain views.

The guesthouse feels wonderfully peaceful, surrounded by mountains, greenery and ponies. I stayed for a couple of days with my husband in July 2024, and I still think about it. I’m definitely hoping to return. Antonio was so kind and helpful, explaining the region and nearby hiking trails. My Spanish isn’t very good, so he made an effort to speak slowly and clearly with me. His mother was just as lovely, such a warm and kind person. Being in this house felt like pure joy, and I honestly can’t imagine what anyone would find negative about it. Don’t miss breakfast: Antonio and his mom make incredible pancakes, whose name I’ve forgotten, and serve them with honey. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and guesthouses, but this is the first time I’ve felt compelled to write a review. The home and the people behind it are truly special. I first booked through Booking.com, but too much time had passed for me to leave a review there, so I’m writing here instead. Thank you so much, Antonio!

The setting is beautiful, and there’s no denying the hotel itself is lovely, but our stay was a bad experience that other people should know about. After two nights, we realized we’d been bitten by bed bugs. There was clear evidence on the sheets, and we found the bugs. We had to cut our stay short, but the host wouldn’t refund the two nights we’d booked next. At first he didn’t believe us, then eventually blamed us for the bugs. We hadn’t seen any sign of them anywhere else we stayed. The conversation was unpleasant and difficult, and the host showed absolutely no empathy, even though we paid for the wine we’d had and left. Such a beautiful location, but the experience wasn’t worth it.

The rooms were clean and neat, with a cozy atmosphere and an awesome terrace view. The hosts are outstanding, too. If you want tips on hikes, good food, or anything else, just ask Antonio. He seems to know it all!
