Apartamentos Javier

As someone originally from this area who now lives elsewhere, I love coming back to enjoy one of the best parts of Cantabria. This was the best stay I've had anywhere in Liébana. The apartments are fully renovated and have all the amenities you'd expect, at an excellent price. It's close to Potes, the region's main town, and the Picos de Europa. Javier welcomed us like we were in his own home. It's become our home away from home when we return to our beloved Picos de Europa, and a place well worth visiting.

It's a peaceful spot where you can rest and disconnect, and Potes is nearby if you want to enjoy the local food. The accommodation was very well kept and everything was brand new, just what we were after. Having both a dishwasher and washing machine was essential for us, especially for relaxing after a day of mountain activities. Javier was also kind and helpful, with advice on things to do and places to eat.

We felt like family here, and we're grateful for everything. The views were spectacular, and the service was so friendly. They know the whole area and recommended routes and places with discounts. We'd stayed years ago, back when it was just rooms, and remembered it fondly. This time we had a very spacious, completely new apartment with every comfort, and it was absolutely peaceful and quiet. We'd definitely come back for a third visit. Best wishes with the beautiful renovations to the house.

Javier is a fantastic host and takes as much time as you need to explain the best of the area. The apartments have been completely renovated, are well equipped, and were spotlessly clean. There's a charming patio with tables and chairs, fruit trees, and lots of natural beauty. It's in a stunning setting near Potes and Fuente Dé. Highly recommend, and we'll be back.
