Top notch!

We all felt comfortable and at home, children and adults alike. Isabel is warm, hardworking, and pays close attention to everyone. She made a spectacular dinner for us in the garden under fairy lights, and kept looking after us throughout. She also shared useful details and suggestions about places to visit. The rooms having their own bathrooms was a nice extra.

We ended up staying because the place was such a good fit for a night on our motorcycle route. We'd found it online, stopped by to look, met Isabel, checked the room, and decided on the spot. The setting is peaceful and idyllic, with hardly any neighbors, and the pool was especially welcome in the intense heat. Isabel and her partner made us feel very welcome, and both were kind and helpful. We booked breakfast, then paid extra for dinner, which was spectacular: a homemade pasta salad with tuna, egg, surimi, tomato, and lots of other ingredients, followed by delicious homemade orange chicken. We also had Contessa-style ice cream with caramel syrup, coffee, and Isabel's refreshing homemade pacharán. After that we enjoyed gin and tonics and a good chat. Breakfast the next morning was generous, with coffee, juice, pastries, toast, and cold cuts. The bill was very reasonable. We thanked them and left reluctantly, having had a brief but really lovely stay.

We'll come back, since we've still got plenty of things to do and places to see. Isabel pointed us toward some lovely hidden spots, and she's a fantastic host who clearly enjoys her work. Her cooking is delicious too.
