The check-in was a nightmare, but the apartment itself was lovely, bright, clean and fresh. It was fully equipped for our stay. The parking spaces are a bit tight.

We keep coming back, and the apartments are still very modern. It's great to have a fully equipped kitchen, and they're pet-friendly too x

It’s a very quiet town, with hardly any atmosphere. We were there for three nights and saw about 10 people in total. Still, the apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We paid £250 for the three nights in a one-bedroom place. The outdoor pool was a nice extra, and for another £5 you can use the indoor pool, jacuzzi and steam room, which was well worth it. There are a few cafes and several supermarkets nearby, plus pubs, including a couple with pool tables. For more going on, we usually took a taxi to Santander, about 10 minutes away and £10. The reception staff were really friendly and did their best to speak English with us. There’s also a small arcade and a shopping mall with nice places to eat, about a seven-minute walk away. A nice, laid-back place.

The apartment is spacious enough for basic day-to-day living, but our work stay from autumn through December was really uncomfortable once the weather turned cold. They only supplied very thin blankets without covers. When I asked for a winter duvet, staff brought another identical blanket, so we had to choose between buying our own duvet or shivering at night. I don't understand why a hotel wouldn't provide one. The soundproofing is poor too, and for a week we couldn't sleep because of the family with children upstairs. The staff were kind, but spoke very little English, which made communication difficult. Wi-Fi was bad and disconnected often.
