Sweet BCN Three Bedroom Apartment

The apartment was clean but very sparse, and its location was good. On our first night we struggled to get in because the virtual key needed mobile signal, which we didn’t have. The last night really spoiled the end of our holiday. We were asleep when management messaged to complain about noise. They insisted neighbours had complained, which seemed impossible, then said the apartment might have a faulty noise sensor. That sensor hadn’t been disclosed on the booking.com website. When we raised the issue, they repeated that they’d received complaints instead of apologising, and we felt gaslit. We wouldn’t return.

It’s right in the centre of Barcalona, so you don’t need to walk far to get around. The apartment was very nice, with rooms and 2 badrooms. It isn’t luxurious, but that wasn’t necessary for us. We’d be happy to stay again.

The furnishings feel a little dated, especially in the kitchen, where some doors and drawers are broken. Even so, I’d give the place an excellent rating. The location is ideal: Diagonal metro station is just steps away, and Casa Batllo and Pedrera are only a few minutes away. I’d stayed on the same street in June, though in a different apartment. Check-in was simple and secure for anyone with even basic smartphone experience.
