Hostal Live Barcelona

We had a private room with a balcony overlooking the gran via, and it was better than we'd expected from a “Hostal”. The accommodation and staff were amazing, and the location was amazing too. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

We chose this place for our first Barcelona trip and were really glad we did. Shops and restaurants are only a short walk away, and the nearby bus stops and metro line made getting around easy. Even with a busy street outside, it was very quiet once we shut the door. The view is beautiful, too. Peaceful, convenient, and highly recommended!

We stayed at Hostal Live Barcelona for four days and three nights. The triple room had a double bed and a single bed, with enough room for our two extra-large suitcases. Both the bedroom and bathroom were clean and well kept. Our only complaint was the very small window, which couldn't be opened because it faced a terrace shared with other rooms. It made the room feel enclosed, though that didn't bother us much since we only used it for sleeping. Getting there was easy by Aerobus, and several metro and bus stops are nearby. The hostal is on the second floor and has a lift, which helps with heavy luggage. Check-in was smooth, but remember the city tax is charged separately when you arrive. There are a vending machine, a €1 coffee maker, and a microwave for heating up groceries. A café, bakery, restaurants, and a Carrefour supermarket are all within walking distance. A good value for a short, comfortable city stay.

We had a room facing the boulevard, with all the amenities we needed, and breakfast was simple but just right for a quick bite before heading out. The place is lovely, the staff are always kind and helpful, and the location on Gran Via is great, just 300m from University Metro stop. I'll be back soon for sure. Great stuff!
