The common spaces were very clean, and there’s a pretty sizeable pool. It’s a charming house in a lovely little setting, definitely somewhere I’d recommend.

The shared room with its books and games was a lovely touch, and the rest of the common areas have plenty of charm. Casa Manuel de la Capilla is tucked away in a peaceful, idyllic setting, making it a relaxing choice for a weekend break. The rooms come with linens, towels for bathing and the pool, soap, and a hairdryer; there’s a fridge and microwave in the kitchen too. Everything’s well equipped, and relaxation feels guaranteed.

The ribeye is the standout, though there’s plenty else on the menu that’s just as delicious. Gallarin's oven and grill has beautiful surroundings, attentive service, and takes real care with top-quality ingredients. It’s a place I’d gladly return to more than once. Congratulations to the professional team for taking on a restaurant like this in the current climate.

The town and its people were welcoming, and I found the river source beautiful. It’s a tidy, well-kept little place with plenty of shops for its size. I tried three bars and enjoyed all of them. I visited in November, when things were quiet, but I imagine the private pool makes summer fantastic. From the street, the house looks much like any other, so the interior was a pleasant surprise. My room was lovely and cozy, with a small balcony or terrace, a table and chairs, and a view of the pool. It was very, very clean, and the heating worked so well I was actually a bit warm. The restaurant was incredible, as I mentioned in my separate review. Honestly, I can’t think of a single fault.
