Inside, the apartment feels bright and roomy, with all the basic amenities and cooking utensils. Even though it’s in a busy part of town, outside noise doesn’t really come through, apart from the church bells behind the building. The port is only steps away, the beach is a little farther, and big supermarkets are about a 15-minute walk. Getting there by car is tricky since you can only drive up during loading and unloading hours. Nearby parking is hard to find unless you use the port lot, which is expensive. Otherwise, you’ll need to head out of the center to the marked dirt parking areas on the outskirts.

We found the apartment clean, comfortable and pleasant, with a simple, minimalist feel. It’s been recently renovated and has plenty of room for four; the sofa bed means it could sleep six. The staff are friendly, and the port is just steps away, with a partial sea view. Although it’s on one of Cambrils’ busiest streets, the windows block the noise really well.
