La Casa Del Bachiller

There were five of us, and the house worked out great, with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It was very clean, breakfast was included, and the owners were so friendly. They also gave us fantastic tips on where to eat. 22/03/2026

We were two couples with a small child, and this place didn’t really suit us. It’s spread over three floors, and the room on the bottom floor is cave-like and smelled terribly musty. The bathrooms are very dated. Downstairs the water was cold and the pressure very low, and there’s no privacy when using the toilet because it’s right in the room. The kitchen is tiny, with no oven, and the microwave has no grill. The dining area couldn’t fit six people, or even five. It was very hot inside. There are two air conditioners, but they weren’t enough to cool the whole place. It wasn’t especially clean either: some bedspreads were stained, and the extra mattress was filthy. I didn’t see the owner, so I can’t comment on that. He did leave some things for breakfast, but calling it included breakfast is a bit of an exaggeration. Thankfully we only stayed one night. I can’t understand all the positive reviews. For the price, it’s not worth it, and I wouldn’t recommend it even at half the price.

We had a fantastic stay, and Goyo’s hospitality was spectacular. The house is well maintained, well furnished, and has everything you need. The cave level is amazing, and the location is beautiful. It’s ideal for a trip with friends or family, with no detail overlooked. I’ll definitely be back.

The house was comfortable for six people, with three levels and a bathroom on each one. I especially liked the beautifully decorated natural cave on the ground floor and the terrace upstairs, with stunning views of the windmills. Its spot in the heart of the Albaicín neighborhood, on Cerro de La Paz and beside the windmills, is excellent. The owner was very friendly and shared information about the area. He also left us some beers, a bottle of wine, and everything we needed for breakfast. A magnificent place to stay in Campo de Criptana, highly recommended.
