We paid just 35 euros per person for a supreme room at the standard-room price, thanks to the very kind hotel owner. The mountain view was perfect when we woke up, and breakfast came with local dried ham and freshly made toast. Small drawback: the owner only speaks Spanish. Thank goodness for Google Translate!

The hotel is run by Enrique, his wife, and their son. Enrique and his wife don't speak much English, but they go out of their way to help with whatever you need, and their son speaks very good English. I spent six nights here with four friends, all on motorbikes, and it's an excellent base for riding some of the best roads around. There's underground parking for cars or bikes, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Breakfast is available on request, simple but ample, and they'll make whatever you'd like. Drinks are available too and very well priced. We had a very good time and would highly recommend staying here.
