Finca Hotel Can Canals & Spa

We came for a Valentine's break and enjoyed the friendly, relaxed service, lovely location, excellent restaurant and very good breakfast. It was a little too cold for us to use the outdoor pools.

We had a great stay at this outstanding Finca, with lovely service and a top restaurant. Breakfast starts at 8:30 each day and was really good. The waitresses were tremendously kind and always on top of drinks and service. The spaghetti Carabonara was top notch too. There are two pool areas, and for three days we had one pool to ourselves. What a luxury. The accommodation was always clean, and we'll come again. If you have ants, avoid keeping food in your apartment.

The grounds are nice, with two pools and a restaurant serving tasty beer right by the pool, just what you want on a hot day. Service was great, check-in and check-out were quick, and the apartment had air conditioning. We booked a separate, three-level apartment for two adults and our children, ages five and eleven. It was just okay, nothing special but acceptable. The real draw is how close it is to Es Trenc. We book a Finca in this area for a few days every time we visit the island because of that beach. If you haven't seen it, go check it out. It's like a Caribbean beach on Mallorca.

The restaurant food was delicious, though breakfast was pretty pricey. We stayed one night in mid-April, and the hotel felt a bit rundown. Our room had countless spiders and mosquitoes, so I'm not sure what it would be like in the middle of summer. I'd come for a fancy dinner, but skip staying at the hotel.
