Galaxia Boutique Hotel

The sea is right next to the hotel, and the swimming pool is amazing. Our room was bright and clean, and everyone was so nice, from the receptionist to the waiters. Thank you so much!

The beds were some of the comfiest we’ve had while away, and after asking, we were moved from the most basic room we’d ever seen to one with a spectacular sea view. Sitting on the balcony and watching the waves was lovely. It wasn’t sunny there, but after being in the blazing heat, that was a nice break. The rooms are the main letdown: very basic, with no way to make tea or coffee. The location is perfect, literally a minute from the stunning beach, and the staff were fabulous. We loved the breakfast. The pool area is secluded and catches the sun, so we spent hours there, though the water was cold, as you’d expect for that time of year. You get what you pay for, but I’d visit again as a couple, probably not with children.

The location was good, and the staff were OK depending on who was working. The rooms are tiny and there’s no air conditioning, or even an option to get it. There was constant noise from the corridors and people shouting from other balconies at odd hours, plus banging or drilling somewhere in the hotel throughout the day.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us, and check-in and checkout were smooth and helpful. This was my second visit, and I’ll be back soon. The breakfast has a good mix of hot and cold food, with a great coffee machine and nice extras like milk alternatives, smoked salmon, cakes, and fruit. Rooms are modern, bright, and clean, with fresh towels each day and very comfortable beds. Toilet rolls are left in trendy baskets for guests to help themselves. The pool area is above average, with wooden beds, olive trees, and stylish tables. The bar has fresh, trendy decor and good prices. It’s only one street back from the beachfront. The hotel is gorgeous; it’s rated one star but should be at least three.
