The host was so lovely. I left my walking stick behind, and they retrieved it and dropped it off at the bus stop in time so I wouldn’t lose it. Such kindness! We loved staying at this classic posada with modern facilities. Our room was cosy and well furnished, with warm showers.

We were a group of 25 for the weekend, and the house had everything we needed. There are two patios for enjoying the outdoors, and the beds were comfortable, the rooms spacious, and there was plenty of kitchenware. The host replied to all our questions right away and was incredibly helpful. A great option for a large group. We’ll be back!

The patio was a highlight, with so much to enjoy: the porch, pool, and barbecue. We had a wonderful family weekend with 25 people, and the house was perfect for spending time together. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, the beds comfortable, and each room had its own bathroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, even with so many of us. If I were to suggest an improvement, the kitchen could use better lighting and an extractor fan. Thank you for offering and maintaining such a valuable place.

We stayed for a weekend with 16 people and a baby. Having traveled around Spain and stayed in rural houses, I can say this was by far the best, with its spacious, well-equipped, comfortable setup. Victoriano made check-in and check-out as easy as possible. It’s centrally located for visiting Coria, Plasencia, Cáceres, Monfragüe National Park, and more.

Restored with incredible care and respect, this magnificent spot is in the oldest house in Cañaveral. It’s a perfect place to end a stage on the Camino de Santiago Vía de la Plata.
