Masia Can Pou

We came away grateful for the thoughtful, warm welcome and already want to return. It’s a lovely place to step away from city rush and enjoy the peace and distinctive atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and clean. The food was a highlight. Breakfast was a delicious traditional Catalan spread, and the natural spring water served at the hotel tasted wonderfully pure and refreshing. Dinner was €30 per person, with a range of seasonal flavors served tapas-style. We really enjoyed it.

Book it. Between the hills and those breathtaking views, you feel tucked away, even though Girona is only 15 minutes off. The old cobblestones, the authentic Catalan masia, and its renovation and decor all have so much taste. Our dinner felt like art and cuisine together, with a gastronomic tasting menu. Afterward, we relaxed in the bath, then slept in a real watchtower and woke to a beautiful sunrise and a generous breakfast. It’s family-owned, focused on local products, and the hosts are very attentive to guests’ needs. Irene and Donatello made our stay as a couple wonderful. Unforgettable.

The pool was spotless and refreshing, and a quiet morning there with the countryside in view was a real treat. Breakfast was fantastic too, with fresh choices to start the day. Dinner is another highlight: the local ingredients and authentic flavors have that home-cooked feeling, and you can sense the care for the region’s food traditions. It’s a meal that stays with you. We slept better than we had in months. The rooms are beautifully kept, spotless, and have incredibly comfortable beds, with thoughtful details that make the place feel calm. Outside, the rolling hills and wide sky are beautiful, and sunset feels like a show of its own. Arriving and seeing those views made the daily hustle fade away. Masia Can Pou was one of our most peaceful, memorable stays. It’s a wonderful place to leave the grey routine behind, slow down, and reconnect with yourself. Comfort, authenticity, and warm hospitality all come together here. We’re already dreaming about coming back. Thank you for such an unforgettable stay.

A big thank you to you both for such a wonderful holiday. The pool deserves a mention too: it’s clean, not over-chlorinated, and big enough for swimming laps as well as having fun. The house and grounds are beautiful, Donatello brings so much enthusiasm to the cooking, and the welcome is warm. Before long, the calm takes over and all the stress drains away. The setting really is heavenly, just as others have said.
