The town was very quiet in October, though I can't say whether it's livelier at other times. There isn't a bar nearby for a quick bite, so we ended up at La Muralla. The food was very good, but it felt very expensive to us. We picked this place for its location near mushroom-picking areas. Our second-floor apartment, number 3, seemed to be one of the pet-friendly ones because it smelled strongly of wet dog. It had two double rooms, which worked for the three of us, but I doubt it would be comfortable for more people. One room and the bathroom opened onto a shared area. We were lucky there were no other guests, but if the hotel were full, opening the door could leave you visible to people outside. The owner looks after the apartments, hostel, and restaurant, and seemed very busy. He couldn't help us, and we had to leave our IDs there for more than a day because he hadn't checked us in. I think he should pass some of the work to others.

The service was outstanding, and the facilities were excellent. The food was great too. I'd happily come back.
