The beds we were given were sofas, and sleeping on them meant doing a 30-minute workout each day just to get our backs straight again. The private garden was actually in a public area beside the church, and restaurant day guests used it too. After nearly two weeks, the staff were still very unfriendly. The original offer also turned out to be quite different from what we received. When disagreements came up, they responded with what felt like punishment, for example, withholding breakfast. They have a monopoly in the village and act like it.

Elena was a great, friendly host and made sure we had a lovely stay. The apartment itself was top quality inside, in a perfect mountain setting, and dog friendly, with restaurants nearby. We’ll be back! Gracias 🖐 😊😍

We were already won over when they had a bed, bowls, and a small tennis ball ready for our dog, along with a crib for our 2-month-old. The apartment had everything we needed: a large comfortable bed, a chaise lounge sofa, big TV, Wi-Fi throughout, ceramic hob, and Tassimo coffee machine. The bathroom was renovated, the shower had modern settings, and the heating worked perfectly. We also appreciated the large elevator, which made it easy to manage the stroller. We called ahead about bringing our dog and getting between floors with the baby carrier, and there was no issue. Elena was incredibly welcoming. It feels like a beautiful family project, built around raising children in nature and supporting the family economically. The dog fee seemed normal to us, since we’re charged at almost every place, but nowhere had treated her so well, including providing a bed. We rarely return to the same place, but we’ll come back here. The cheese was amazing too; we’ll have to ask you to bring some down for us when you get back. Thanks so much for everything.
