El Balcon De Muniellos

The house was cozy and had what we needed for a few days, and pets are allowed. We brought a small dog. The owner was friendly and suggested things to do nearby. Getting around was the main drawback: it felt a bit far from everything because of the roads and parking. I also think people who aren’t staying at the house sometimes park there.

The owners were very welcoming, and we had a wonderful time in this fantastic place. The rooms have marvelous views, and the apartments are equipped with everything you need. Oballo’s old village school has been renovated into a house, and though getting there is a little difficult, the location is worth it. There’s a restaurant across the street and a local bar, or chigre, where you can have a drink. The mountain trails stretch for many kilometers and are great for hiking and exploring Muniellos.

Héctor welcomed us wonderfully and was always helpful in ways that made a difference. We stayed for a week in this idyllic place, which is great for couples or families. It’s a little small, and we did miss having an oven and washing machine, but it still worked perfectly for us. We did see a few spiders, though that’s normal for the area.

The town is a lovely base for a few days and for exploring the area, though the road there is very narrow and bumpy. The apartment was spotless, but it’s really small. It works for two, while three or four people would be uncomfortable. Some details made it less convenient when we had to spend time indoors, such as in bad weather. The emergency light is so bright that it bothers anyone sleeping in the living room. To eat, you have to keep shifting the living room table because it’s tucked in a corner, and once moved there’s hardly room to walk around. If you won’t be in the apartment much, it’s fine.
