The water never got hot, so it wasn't good.

We drove 400km after booking a room, only to find it was occupied when we arrived and we were left out on the street. The owner never came to see us. She apologized over the phone and said she'd booked the room for another couple that same day. Her suggestion was that we find a hotel, then she'd check the next day whether anything had opened up, though she said the chances were slim. They're a bunch of crooks.

The owner was very friendly, and we could use the kitchen and its furnishings. Just keep in mind this is a village house, not a hotel, with its own character: an unusual layout, repainted walls with paint peeling from damp, and distinctive doors. The street is narrow, so parking is difficult. Better to leave the car on another street.

We came from Murcia so my son and I could do a via ferrata nearby, and arrived later than planned. Getting in was no problem. The owner had taken care of everything, from the bedroom to the dining room and kitchen. The house is spacious and comfortable, in a lovely village surrounded by nature in Zafarraya. Highly recommended.

Pepa is such a friendly owner. The house is spotless, quiet and welcoming, right in the center of Zafarraya. It's a charming country place, and I'll definitely come back.
